Iconic Furst and Mooney patchwork exotic skins clutch bag with optional cross- body shoulder strap, circa 1980s vintage.
Mirror image front panel, with curvy pieces of colored python look snake and colored metallic Karung, as shown.
Hot pink, violet, gray, ivory, royal purple, etc. - all of which are separated by zig zag stitching.
Flap closure with hidden magnetic snap.
The back, the top of the strap, and the panel underneath the flap are a pale mauvey- grayish- lilac shade, as is the patch pocket just above the snap closure.
Dove gray leather sides, bottom and underside of the strap.
Front and back of the bag fully lined in gray pigskin suede, the sides and bottom are unlined / natural back of the leather.
Interior zippered pocket with 'Furst & Mooney, fine leather design' label on the inner back wall.
Rectangular shape flares a bit at the rounded bottom corners.
Shoulder strap snaps onto the underside of the flap closure, easily removable for use as a clutch.
Condition is excellent- easily a solid 9.5 to 9.75 on a scale of 1- 10.
No signs of wear or use.
All stitching is in tact and tight.
Obviously, some very minor variations to the skins - as is natural, but no issues to report.
A stellar vintage bag!

1- 1/2' deep at bottom, not including the depth of snap closure and front flap
the strap is 5/8' wide, 41' long (20- 1/2' drop from shoulder)
